Fluid Audio F8S - 8 Fluid Audio F8S - 8" Active Subwoofer, Black
List Price: $359.99
Sale Price: $359.99

Designed for recording studios, gaming, home theaters and more, the Fluid Audio F8S active subwoofer delivers exceptional bass response in a compact footprint. Many types of music benefit from bass extension - from Hip-Hop, to House, to Rock. Being able to hear your mix with this bass extension is critical to accurately creating your music. The F8S subwoofer allows you to hear every detail down to 30Hz - and in a compact size. Mix Engineers want the confidence to know that their mixes translate well on all types of systems. That is why we included a standby footswitch. With a click of the included foot pedal, you can turn the bass on or off, and audition your mix with bass extension and without. The F8S also has two built-in EQ settings that allow for two different settings - depending on your music: A more conventional Flat response, as well as a "Punch" setting that is perfect for Dance or other mid-bass heavy music. For further flexibility, the F8S has a variable phase adjustment to fine tune the phase for optimal matching to your L/R monitors (0-180 degrees), a variable low pass crossover filter control (50-200Hz) and a 80Hz high pass filter (used with foot switch) for satellite connections.

Fluid Audio C5 (Pair) - 5 Fluid Audio C5 (Pair) - 5" Active Studio Monitors, White
List Price: $197.38
Sale Price: $189.99

The Classic Series C5 studio monitor from Fluid Audio redefines the sound quality of a "budget" studio monitor. Having more than 23 years designing speakers, it's somewhat easy to design great sounding monitors using expensive components and unique, "space age" materials. What we set out to do was more of a challenge: Create an extraordinary sounding studio monitor - using just ordinary, "classic" technologies and components. No Beryllium…No Titanium…just proven technologies and components put together to sound great… and at an attractive price point. With TRS and RCA inputs and 40 watts of total power, the C5 is perfect for any desktop monitoring application.

Fluid Audio FPX7 (Single) - Studio Reference Monitor Fluid Audio FPX7 (Single) - Studio Reference Monitor
List Price: $549.99
Sale Price: $549.99

The Fluid Audio FPX7 produces the most accurate monitoring experience in it's price range. With it's lightning fast response, the AMT (ribbon) tweeter provides detail and depth only seen in Professional studios. What makes the FPX7 so unique, however, is that the AMT tweeter is mounted in the center of the woofer, which makes this speaker the first of it's kind. Coaxial drivers provide accuracy and detail because all the frequencies radiate from the exact same position in space. This is critical for accurate off-axis response, as well as phase coherence. The AMT tweeter is mounted to a custom designed waveguide, which provides wide dispersion and an expansive sweet spot. The complex, DSP controlled crossover provides a perfect blending of the woofer to the AMT tweeter, and ensures that there is effectively zero variance speaker-to-speaker. The "engine" is DSP powered.

Fluid Audio FX8 8-Inch Coaxial 2-way Studio Reference Monitor, Black Fluid Audio FX8 8-Inch Coaxial 2-way Studio Reference Monitor, Black
List Price: $256.91
Sale Price: $249.99

In a studio environment, when you put something that tall on a mixing console, it tends to obstruct the view in front of you. Then what ends up happening is you put these huge monoliths on their side (to reduce the height) and speaker imaging gets skewed because the high frequency energy is bouncing off the surface they’re sitting on. Not to mention, what was the vertical off-axis response is now the horizontal off-axis response, minimizing your sweet spot in the listening position. Another compromise! We solved this by creating a Coaxial 2-way design (or dual concentric), with the tweeter mounted in the center of the woofer. We were always impressed by the Manley Tannoy speakers that used a coax driver - we just wanted to do it less expensively. There are two huge benefits to this. One, you can shrink the cabinet height. As mentioned above, it’s not optimum to have huge, clumsy speakers on your console… and most 2-ways are so tall, that the tweeter is firing over your head anyway, then you have to tilt them down… and that notion is kind of scary. The second benefit of the Coaxial design, is that you now have all frequencies (bass and midrange from the woofer and high frequencies from the tweeter) radiating from the same point in space. This is huge because suddenly your off-axis response is much more consistent (meaning your sweet spot is bigger and more even) and the speaker’s response doesn’t change whether they are standing up of laying down. The FX8’s also include all of the great features and benefits of the other Fader Series speakers as well. The amplifier supplies 130 Watts of Class A/B power to each cabinet, and the heat sink and standby circuit allow them to operate conveniently and reliably. The Fader volume control and bass reflex port on the front baffle allow for ease of use and placement. Whether your mixing music in a professional studio or just your home project studio, the FX8’s work perfectly with all types of music.

Fluid Audio F5 (Pair) - 5 Fluid Audio F5 (Pair) - 5" 2-way Studio Reference Monitors, White
List Price: $299.99
Sale Price: $299.99

The F5 studio monitor is the model that started it all for Fluid Audio. When we decided to enter this market, we wanted to address many of the issues found with monitors at this price point. We didn't realize that so many others would want the very same thing! While it is often referred to as a "budget" monitor, the F5 brings a lot of technology and value to the table. The amplifier rear panel has not only XLR and TRS inputs for more professional applications, we have also included an RCA input for more "consumer friendly" applications. The amplifier has a generous heat sink for long mixing sessions. Most monitors have their amp heat sinks inside the cabinet where all the heat is generated and cannot escape. The F5 amplifier ICs are mounted directly to the heat sink, so heat can transmit harmlessly away from the drivers and internal circuitry. The amp also has something no other monitor in it's class can boast - A standby circuit that shuts down the amp after 20 mins of non use. This may not seem like much of a feature, but we are all concerned with being "green" and conserving energy in this day and age. This is our small contribution. The well reinforced MDF cabinet minimizes resonances, and the front mounted bass-reflex port allows the bass energy to radiate directly towards the listener. And unlike many other monitors in it's class, there is a volume control on the front baffle for easy access. All of these features come together to create a great sounding yet transparent listening and mixing experience…at a great price.
